Europe United supports the calls from European citizens that the next EU-US summit should be held in Brussels instead of Madrid and that the EU should be represented by EU officials. The current presidency will define how the Lisbon treaty will be implemented and most likely set a precedent for the future and should therefore make sure to act in European spirit.
