Types of Membership
Updated by Webmaster on 18.06.2007 (1069 reads)
At its 23 May 2007 meeting the Board voted unanimously for a proposal for the collection of membership fees. On 5 June the Board decided that these fees will apply from 1 July 2007. The last adjustment of the fees took place on the 01 January 2009, based on the Board decision of the 03 September 2008.

Following from recommendations made at the two previous Europe United conventions there will be three types of membership categories: Full members, Supporters and Honorary members (the latter can only be bestowed on personalities of importance by the Board).

1. Full Member
2009 Membership Fee:
Regular fee: €35
Students/Unemployed: €15

Members will have the right to vote, hold office, take part in all discussions on the forum, attend meetings and conventions and be eligible to receive compensation for attending, participate in policy-making in the forum, receive quarterly and annual reports, access the Europe United member network, receive regular newsletters and a membership card.

The fee for full membership is EUR35 (EUR15 for students) for one year for most countries. If you are permanent resident or citizen in Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Poland, Romania and Turkey you only have to pay a reduced fee of EUR10 (EUR5 for students). This will be accepted as full payment. Payment can be made by bank transfer or through the Paypal system which also accepts Credit Card payment. Bank details will be communicated in the next newsletter.

Yearly financial reports will be made available to members.

2. Supporter
Supporters will receive regular updates on Europe United activities and will be able to participate in some general discussions on the forum, and access the campaign chest. Supporters will not pay membership fees.
